Established several years ago with only six volunteer tutors, this service group now has almost 500 tutors, serving 12 local schools and mentoring 2,800 students in reading, writing, math, and science every week. Tutors also pass out books throughout the school year.
RCTVN has been contributing $1,000 a year, assisting in the acquisition of books for distribution to the students at the various schools. Sometimes this is the first book a child has ever received, and they absolutely cherish it.
Several of our club members participate as tutors.
